Amos  Tversky

(이스라엘 심리학자 인지과학자 1937~1996)

Amos Tversky 는 인지과학의 개척자이며 오랜동안 그의 동료 Daniel Kahneman 과 함께 systematic human cognitive bias 의 발견과 risk 조절 분야의 연구를 진행하였다. 비합리적인 인간의 경제적선택 (irrational human economic choices) 을 설명하기위한 prospect theory 를 Kahneman 과 함께 발표했다. 1965 년에 Michigan 대학에서 박사학위를 받고 예루살렘의 Hebrew 대학에서 가르치다가 나중에 Stanford 로 옮겼다. 1984 년에 MacArthur Fellowship 을 수상했다. Tversky 는 현재 Stanford 대학의 심리학과 교수로 있는 Barbara Tversky 와 결혼했다. 또한 Thomas Gilovich, Paul Slovic, Richard Thaler 등과 여러 논문을 공동으로 작성했다. ........... (Wikipedia : Amos Tversky)
